Me considero un usuario voraz de las charlas TED, por eso cuando en diciembre del año pasado desde TEDx Río de la Plata me invitaron para audicionar acepté sin dudarlo.
La propuesta era interesante, estructurar una conferencia para la primera edición temática del evento, el 18 de abril se realizaría el primer “TEDx Río de la Plata Educación” en la Usina del Arte de Buenos Aires.
Lo que siguió fueron 4 largos meses de preparación para lograr, en palabras de sus organizadores, la mejor versión posible de tu charla. Armar una conferencia TEDx no se compara a ninguna otra actividad similar, es una interpelación constante a tus ideas, a tu profesión y, sobre todo, a tu visión del mundo.
El proceso, en mi caso, fue todo un desafío, 18 minutos para condensar en palabras e imágenes los proyectos digitales que desarrollé durante los últimos ocho años, incluyendo aprendizajes, éxitos y fracasos.
La organización y el profesionalismo detrás de “TEDx Río de la Plata” es un detalle a destacar y un respaldo que se hace sentir generando compromiso. No por nada sus organizadores han logrado realizar el evento TEDx mas grande del mundo, convocando a 10mil personas a escuchar ideas sobre economía, medicina, literatura o astronomía.
Durante su desarrollo, al igual que a los demás oradores, me acompañaron dos coachs con los que en reuniones semanales pulimos conceptos, frases y armamos un guión que respetase la esencia de lo que quería transmitir.
Mi idea era analizar en la charla la relación histórica que han tenido los contenidos, a través de las tecnologías hacia las audiencias, y como la era digital ha revolucionado estos procesos inaugurando nuevos códigos narrativos para contar historias en el Siglo XXI.
De estar forma, dar contexto para compartir la experiencia de haber realizado proyectos digitales transmedia como “Malvinas/30” y “Proyecto Walsh” que remixaron historia, periodismo y literatura, y sin quererlo, fueron utilizados en las aulas de colegios y universidades como material educativo.
Y, finalmente, introducir un concepto que he venido trabajando durante estos años, la idea de que el periodismo y la historia ademas de ser comprendidos como disciplinas, como productos y como servicios, hoy pueden convertirse en experiencias.
El resultado quedó condensado en 18 minutos que recorren la historia de la narrativa humana, desde las pinturas rupestres de la Cueva Chauvet con mas de 30mil años de antiguedad a las Narrativas Transmedia como instrumento para re-crear la historia en tiempo real.
